I’ve been gym training for a long time and recently that I tried Muay Thai for both Cardio training and self-defense. In my experience, nothing beats cardiovascular workouts. Compared to weight lifting and others, cardio exercises are sure to let your heart and blood pump like there’s no tomorrow.

Martial arts are commonly used for cardiovascular training today. Not only do you learn to throw jabs and roundhouse kicks, you also train the way boxers or even Muay Thai students do.

What I found common on both in boxing and Muay Thai training is the Jump Rope. I hated the jump rope because I never seem to get the rhythm of just flipping the rope.

Michael Olajide, a former boxer (well known for the eye patch), released a DVD training called the aero JUMP.

Workout Focus: Cardiovascular System and the Lower Body

Equipment: The Jump Rope

The Aero Jump lets you in for a 70-minute of heart pounding Aerobics with the use of a Jump Rope. The Jump Rope is accompanied with a fast beat tempo that increases the workout, making you sweat a lot more.

Bonus Workout:

The bonus workout in the DVD includes a highly intensive Ab work out. Boxers do a lot of mid-section exercises and they are the best people to look up to when it comes to these exercises.

Verdict:

A simple jump rope in your exercise is hard enough, let alone do it for 70 minutes. The training video doesn’t require anything else from you but a jump rope. It’s simple and clean. I personally trust this work out because it aims to fine tune your cardiovascular system and increase your stamina.

It also focuses on the lower part of your body, specifically the hamstrings, the thigh and the calf. This fitness exercise is great if your intention is to focus on those areas.

The only thing missing here is the diet.  This fitness regime was created with the intention that you already have a diet plan in place.

So if you are just starting out, I highly suggest that you look around for diet program that can help support Aero Jump. Diet programs like The Truth About Abs, Diet Solution Program or Fat Loss For Idiots to name a few are great support for your weight loss goal.

Don’t let your fitness routine into waste by not knowing what to eat right.
