Allergies are caused by a disorder which can be a form of hypersensitivity. There are many types of allergies that come from any environmental subjects. Allergies are usually not harmful but symptoms and reactions vary greatly.
Causes: You can get allergies from the environment or from your family genes. Your immune system automatically will protect your body from substances. When a person has allergies the immune system will try to use histamines to fight off the allergens, and this causes your body to get rashes, itching, or hives. Different allergies effect different people. To prevent allergies in a newborn child the best thing to do is breastfeed.
Types of Allergens: The different types of allergens are mold, grass, trees, pollen, dust, jewelry, bee stings, peanuts, and many other substances. If you have asthma, allergies will make these conditions worse. If you feel that you have a type of allergy you should get checked up to make sure that you know what causes the symptoms. If you happen to be allergic to any dust, mold, or outdoor substances you will develop hay fever. The amount of pollen that is thrown through the air can play a big part on allergies, so you may never know what day your allergies may occur. Make sure that you have the proper medication if any symptoms occur. With food allergies the symptoms will occur within two hours of eating the food and the symptoms would include: diarrhea, itching of the mouth, swelling of the face, vomiting, and many more. The most common way of allergy testing is skin testing. This involves the doctor pricking your skin with different allergens and then the skin is watched carefully for any reactions.
Treatments: If you have allergies from pollen or any outside substances you will be prescribed with allergy medication. Your doctor can prescribe you medication, or you can buy allergy medication over the counter. If you are allergic to a food you simply cannot consume that food anymore, and if you happen to eat the food and get a reaction you need to make sure that you carry injectable epinephrine. After you inject the epenephrine make sure that you go to the hospital right away. Many people get allergy shots around springtime when the pollen is out, but you need to be careful of the possible side effects. Many children are also known to outgrow an allergy, but once your body has been triggered from an allergy it will continue to affect a person.

Our little boy has had terrible allergies and eczema and the one thing to really help him so much are his probiotics. He takes his Belly Boost chewable every single day and not only does he love it – but it has helped him dramatically! I highly recommend this to anyone with allergies/intolerances and eczema!
