Without sufficient amounts of hydrochloric acid, people can be under nourished even if they consume enough nutrients. If food can’t be broken down, it passes undigested into the bloodstream, which is the cause of many food allergies. I suffered severely from food allergies and they have all but gone away in the five months since I began taking betaine HCl.

Flavored Agave Nectar

I use agave nectar to sweeten and add flavor to coffee, tea, protein shakes, and oatmeal. I would recommend starting with less and then adding as needed. Not only does it pack a lot of flavor but also each tablespoon is 60 calories. It should be used sparingly if you’re watching your calories.

The Truth About Abs

I still have yet to do an entire Truth About Abs total body workout although I did a modified one a few days ago. There is definitely enough cardio to keep the heart rate up as I was quickly moving from body weight squats to stability plank holds to deadlifts with arm raises.

Harney & Sons Green Tea with Coconut, Ginger, and Vanilla

The tea was sweet enough on its own and I didn’t even need to use them. Coconut is the overwhelming flavor with hints of ginger, vanilla, and lemongrass. These flavors balance out the green tea so that it doesn’t have any bitterness. I can now have all of the health benefits of green tea and actually enjoy drinking it.

Nugo Free Bars

The Dark Chocolate Trail Mix bar was the winner. It was everything that the other bar was not. This bar was also covered in thick dark chocolate and filled with healthy things like pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, walnuts, almonds, rice protein, agave syrup, and flaxseed oil. It was crunchy, tasty, and filling.

I’ve been challenged just from doing leg thrusts on the mat and decline bench. One of my favorite exercises is the front squat. I started with just my body weight and did notice a huge difference. It was challenging even without any weight, just like Geary said it would be.
